About the Role

Tesla is seeking a highly skilled Technical Recruiter to help fill critical roles across its engineering and technical teams. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders and hiring managers to discover, evaluate, and onboard exceptional talent committed to advancing Tesla's cutting-edge projects. These include developing future-focused products, automating manufacturing operations, creating software and AI systems, and enhancing manufacturing processes. This fast-paced recruiting role demands adaptability and impact, supporting diverse teams from software and hardware engineering to manufacturing and materials science. While primarily based in Buffalo, NY, similar roles exist in Palo Alto and Fremont, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to identify talent needs, recommend recruitment strategies, and build hiring plans.
• Establish and sustain a strong pipeline of qualified technical candidates using innovative multi-channel sourcing methods.
• Manage end-to-end recruiting processes including candidate sourcing, screening, behavioral interviews, coordination, and extending offers.
• Effectively handle multiple job requisitions simultaneously while keeping stakeholders informed with regular updates.
• Develop cooperative relationships with recruiters, sourcers, business leads, and hiring managers throughout the organization.
• Maintain expert knowledge of recruitment tools, workflows, and strategies in a dynamic environment.
• Ensure every candidate experience is positive, professional, and engaging.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least two years of full-cycle technical recruiting or sourcing experience in corporate or agency settings.
• Previous experience recruiting for technical roles including engineers, specialists, or niche functions within engineering, software, hardware, manufacturing, or related fields.
• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple simultaneous technical requisitions in a high-growth and high-volume context.
• Proven success in sourcing and evaluating technical candidates, including passive talent in competitive markets.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, and other recruitment technologies.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and communication, working effectively with hiring teams and leaders.
• Ability to prioritize urgent needs, handle ambiguity, balance efficiency with quality, and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

Tesla offers competitive salaries ranging from $57,600 annually for Associate Recruiters to $183,600 for Staff Recruiters, adjusted based on role level and location. This package also includes cash rewards, stock awards, and a comprehensive benefits plan effective from day one, encompassing:
