Role Overview
The company is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter who can succeed in a high-volume, fast-moving staffing setting and consistently identify strong candidates for specialized technology positions.
Responsibilities
- Handle the complete hiring process, from understanding the requirement to supporting onboarding.
- Find, assess, interview, and shortlist candidates for both contract and permanent IT openings.
- Recruit for technologies.
- Develop and maintain talent pipelines of passive candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, Google X-Ray, and similar sourcing approaches.
- Carry out technical as well as behavioral screening conversations.
- Discuss compensation expectations and align them with candidate preferences.
- Prepare candidates for interviews with clients.
- Coordinate with account managers and clients to clarify hiring needs.
- Submit candidate profiles through VMS/MSP systems and track progress of submissions.
- Keep ATS and CRM records accurate and up to date.
- Consistently achieve weekly and monthly recruitment performance goals.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 4+ years of experience in IT recruitment.
- Prior recruiting experience with Canadian and/or US clients.
- Demonstrated success in hiring technical professionals across multiple IT areas.
- Hands-on experience with Boolean search methods, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google X-Ray, and passive sourcing.
- Experience working with ATS/VMS platforms such as:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
- Capability to manage several open requisitions at once.
- Good negotiation ability and experience handling candidate expectations.
- Strong sourcing capability for difficult-to-fill technical positions.
- Ability to engage passive candidates effectively.
- Detail-oriented approach.
- Strong follow-through and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-directed work style with the ability to operate independently.
- Team-focused attitude and willingness to guide junior recruiters.

This role is remote within Ontario, Canada.
