Technical Lead - Azure Databricks & PySpark

About the Role

Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. is seeking an experienced Technical Architect specializing in Azure Databricks and PySpark to join teams in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, or Bangalore. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of experience in data and analytics architecture, focusing on cloud modernization and large-scale migrations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architecture frameworks, standards, and migration strategies for enterprise data solutions.
• Review and approve solution designs across various programs to ensure adherence to architectural principles.
• Lead governance of platforms focusing on security, scalability, and cost efficiencies.
• Create reusable migration patterns, accelerators, and document best practices to streamline cloud adoption.
• Offer expert guidance on complex technical problems and design challenges.
• Collaborate with client architects, senior-level stakeholders, and delivery leaders to align architectural vision.
• Support initiatives in innovation, including automation and AI-driven migration efforts.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 10 years experience in data and analytics architecture.
• Proficiency with Azure Databricks, PySpark, Delta Lake, and Azure Data Platform services.
• Strong background in data modeling and enterprise-scale data solution design.
• Demonstrated experience leading cloud migration and modernization programs.
• Excellent skills in architecture governance and stakeholder engagement.
