About the Role

As a Team Manager within the Proactive Services division, you'll play a crucial part in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of Woolworths stores. Your efforts will ensure trolley availability and a spotless environment, supporting a quality experience for both customers and employees. This hands-on leadership position involves coaching your team, working alongside them, and supporting daily store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and motivate a diverse team involved in cleaning, trolley management, and waste operations across multiple store locations.
  • Collaborate with leadership and various store departments to guarantee exceptional customer service and smooth store operations.
  • Design and manage rosters to provide thorough coverage for all required tasks, adapting to early mornings, late nights, and weekends as needed.
  • Oversee staff timekeeping processes, handle attendance, and monitor compliance with internal policies.
  • Order and manage inventories of critical consumables such as cleaning supplies, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Take an active role in operational activities, including cleaning stores, gathering trolleys, and overseeing waste disposal.

What We're Seeking

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a passion for developing people in a retail environment.
  • Adaptability to work in variable settings, including on the sales floor, in temperature-controlled areas, and in carparks.
  • Strong attention to cleanliness and fine details, upholding high hygiene standards.
  • Physical stamina to perform and supervise labor-intensive tasks indoors and outdoors.
  • Organizational and planning skills to coordinate resources and schedule workflows efficiently.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as Food Safety and workplace codes of conduct.
  • A full Australian driver’s licence (minimum Green P’s) to operate company vehicles.
