Role Overview
As a trusted service provider to regulated and high-risk markets, Catalyx is dedicated to delivering lifecycle services and partnering with life science and similar sectors to improve operational success and efficiency. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will manage the entire recruitment process for a portfolio of clients across Ireland and Europe. The primary focus areas include technical vacancies in Engineering, IT, Automation, Manufacturing, and Life Sciences sectors, alongside occasional roles in other professional domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the full recruitment life cycle from sourcing through offer extension and onboarding.
- Recruit for current clients, new accounts, and potential opportunities in Ireland and Europe.
- Source technical candidates proactively using platforms such as LinkedIn, various job boards, and internal databases.
- Understand client specifications independently and develop tailored candidate searches for new or unfamiliar roles.
- Conduct candidate screenings, manage CV submissions, and maintain communication throughout the hiring steps.
- Assist with salary and contractor rate calculations and facilitate offer negotiations.
- Coordinate interview scheduling, medical evaluations, reference verifications, and other pre-employment procedures.
- Prepare employment contracts, handle documentation for signatures, and oversee candidate onboarding activities.
- Foster strong ongoing relationships with hiring managers through frequent engagement and recruitment support.
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations teams to support existing client engagements and new business development.
- Maintain talent pipelines for recurring, specialized, and future recruitment requirements.
- Manage multiple simultaneous vacancies autonomously and respond agilely to shifting priorities and client needs.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 3 years in recruitment, preferably in agency, RPO, MSP, consultancy, or other client-focused recruitment settings.
- Proven skills in proactive candidate sourcing and pipeline management.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems for handling job vacancies, candidate pipelines, and recruitment tasks.
- Strong commercial awareness with capability to meet revenue-based recruitment targets and KPIs.
- Ability to independently manage recruitment processes with minimal oversight.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Capability to juggle multiple vacancies and adapt efficiently to changing priorities.
