About the Role
An established Brisbane-based company is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner for a 12-month fixed term contract with potential for permanency. This position focuses exclusively on recruiting corporate and professional roles such as HR, finance, legal, commercial, and operational support functions. Candidates with only blue collar or trade recruitment experience should not apply. The role is based in Brisbane with one day of work from home per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle for professional and corporate positions within the organization.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers, acting as a strategic talent advisor rather than merely handling administrative tasks.
- Identify and attract candidates using LinkedIn, talent databases, and proactive sourcing techniques.
- Conduct candidate screening and interviews, then provide curated shortlists supported by well-founded recommendations.
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies, ensuring accountability and performance.
- Leverage applicant tracking systems and labor market intelligence to inform discussions with stakeholders.
- Participate in refining recruitment processes, creating targeted hiring campaigns, and supporting candidate assessment initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience handling end-to-end recruitment for white collar and corporate functions.
- Background managing hiring for professional roles such as HR, finance, and corporate services.
- Agency recruitment experience is advantageous, especially for individuals looking to transition in-house and avoid business development responsibilities.
- Exceptional skills in building and sustaining productive working relationships with hiring managers.
- Proficient with sourcing strategies and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a positive candidate experience and thoroughness.
- This role is not suitable for those with only trades, industrial, or blue collar recruitment experience.
