Supply Planning Analyst / Demand Planning Analyst / Inventory Analyst

Role Overview

This position involves comprehensive support of supply chain planning processes by examining demand patterns, optimizing inventory holdings, and formulating supply strategies to guarantee product accessibility while reducing operational expenses.

Key Responsibilities

• Forecast customer demand using historical sales data and predictive models.
• Monitor and evaluate inventory performance and accuracy regularly.
• Coordinate replenishment activities to maintain stock availability.
• Contribute to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and strategic planning efforts.
• Optimize inventory policies and supply plans to align with business objectives and market trends.
• Utilize AI and predictive analytics tools to enhance demand forecasting and planning accuracy.
• Prepare executive dashboards and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to supply chain efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, warehouse operations, sales, finance, product management, and customer service to ensure alignment of plans and operations.
• Identify supply chain risks and support continuous improvements in operational efficiency and supply chain resilience.

Candidate Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or related disciplines; a master's degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in roles such as Supply Planning Analyst, Demand Planning Analyst, Inventory Analyst, Supply Chain Analyst, or similar capacities.
• Sound knowledge of demand and supply planning, inventory control, forecasting, replenishment, production planning, S&OP, logistics, procurement, warehouse management, and supply chain performance.
• Ability to analyze sales and inventory data, drive forecast accuracy improvements, manage stock levels, and perform root cause analyses.
• Proficiency with tools and platforms including Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, SAP IBP, SAP APO, Oracle SCP, Kinaxis RapidResponse, Blue Yonder, Anaplan, Microsoft Dynamics 365, ERP, and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Familiarity with AI, generative AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), robotic process automation, and business intelligence solutions is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking, quantitative skills, and problem-solving capabilities to optimize inventory and forecast accuracy and to mitigate operational risks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and leadership.
• Experience supporting global or regional supply chains, supply chain digital transformation, and Lean or continuous improvement initiatives is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple planning cycles, prioritize tasks, ensure data accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Certifications such as APICS CSCP, CPIM, CPSM, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, SAP IBP, Oracle Supply Chain, or equivalents are advantageous.
