Position Overview

CORE Consulting is in search of a dedicated Supply Chain Manager to focus exclusively on the procurement function, particularly commodity sourcing and managing long-lead equipment. Key Responsibilities

Handle complete procurement processes, emphasizing commodity sourcing and purchasing activities.
Supervise orders for long-lead equipment to ensure deliveries meet project schedules.
Conduct analyses of supply markets, pricing dynamics, and vendor performance to enhance sourcing strategies.
Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and reduce supply chain risks.
Identify opportunities to cut costs and improve operational effectiveness.
Participate actively in meetings by providing thoughtful insights, recommendations, and inquiries.
Serve as a strategic partner to procurement leadership.
Maintain and manage vendor relationships and assist with contract-related tasks.

Required Qualifications

3 to 5 years of direct experience in supply chain roles.
Proven expertise in commodity procurement.
Background in purchasing, sourcing, or supply planning functions.
Strong analytical skills coupled with solid organizational capabilities.
Ability to manage various priorities simultaneously.
Experience working in cross-functional or client-interfacing environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience within the energy industry or adjacent sectors.
Familiarity with global sourcing or managing distributed supplier networks.
Knowledge of procurement technologies or ERP systems.

Work Environment
