Job overview
DIGITEMB is looking for a thorough and data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to help manage core supply chain activities from procurement and logistics to inventory control and demand planning. This role focuses on turning operational data into practical recommendations that improve efficiency, lower costs, and strengthen overall supply chain performance.
Key responsibilities
- Study supply chain data to spot patterns, potential risks, and areas where performance can be improved.
- Track inventory positions, demand projections, and supply planning work.
- Assist with procurement, transportation, and distribution workflows.
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
- Work closely with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to keep operations running smoothly.
- Detect supply chain slowdowns or obstacles and suggest better process approaches.
- Support forecasting and demand planning tasks.
- Review supplier performance and help with vendor management activities.
- Maintain accurate data across supply chain platforms and reporting systems.
- Contribute to cost-saving and operational efficiency initiatives.
Required qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline.
- About 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or another analytical role.
- Strong ability to analyze problems and develop practical solutions.
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis functions.
- Hands-on experience with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and day-to-day operations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with good organization.
- Ability to juggle several priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Preferred experience
- Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable systems.
- Familiarity with demand planning, forecasting, and inventory control tools.
- Working knowledge of SQL or other data-querying tools.
- Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methods.
- Experience in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chains would be an advantage.
