Success Architect - Industries Cloud

About the Role

As a Success Architect focusing on Industries Cloud at Salesforce, you'll play a critical part in guiding leading organizations through high-value implementations and ensuring their long-term success with Salesforce's suite of industry clouds. You’ll collaborate within a dynamic Customer Success division, helping clients optimize the technical architecture, scalability, and adoption of Salesforce solutions, while collaborating closely with internal teams and product experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with priority customers to assess their Salesforce Cloud set-ups, delivering tailored technical advice on architecture, application lifecycle management, solution reliability, and adoption of industry-specific features.
• Act as a subject matter expert across multiple Industry Clouds, including Consumer Goods, Manufacturing, Non-Profit, Loyalty Management, Public Sector, Education, and OmniStudio, providing authoritative guidance within the Success Architect team.
• Distill complex technical ideas for audiences ranging from technical teams to executive leadership, ensuring clear communication of solutions and strategies.
• Identify system bottlenecks, recommend optimizations, and propose innovative solutions—including custom configurations or enhancements to drive customer success and accelerate product adoption.
• Apply established Success Architect playbooks, customized to the needs and challenges of industry cloud clients, especially in sectors like financial services.
• Work collaboratively with customer service, product, and engineering teams to resolve immediate challenges, influence product roadmap through customer feedback, and champion sustainable, scalable solutions.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience designing complex software, system, or enterprise-level architectures, ideally in SaaS/PaaS, multi-tenancy, and large-scale cloud environments.
• Deep expertise with Salesforce's product ecosystem, technical stewardship, and core platform capabilities—including governance, scalability, and best practices.
• Strong foundation in enterprise integration, data management (import/export, deduplication, validation), and security—especially with ETL tools, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Informatica).
• Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce security constructs (role hierarchy, sharing, profiles, permission sets) and best practices for large data volumes and scalable design.
• Hands-on development experience with APEX, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and knowledge of governor limits and optimal coding practices.
• Skilled in integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems via APIs, event-driven approaches (Platform Events, External Objects), and tools like Salesforce Connect.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership in technical discussions, and ability to align technical recommendations with business goals.
• Certifications required: Salesforce Admin, Salesforce Advanced Admin, Service Cloud Consultant. Desired: Platform App Builder, Platform Developer 1, Certified Architect, OmniStudio Consultant, Agentforce Specialist.
• Prior experience with key industry clouds and vertical-specific solutions for sectors like retail, manufacturing, nonprofit, education, financial services, etc., is highly preferred.
