Role Summary

The Studio Assistant will collaborate closely with the Studio Manager to facilitate the setup, operation, and teardown of daily livestream broadcasts. This role demands practical experience in live studio or broadcast production within a fast-paced environment and offers real responsibility from the outset, ideal for professionals wishing to further develop their live commerce expertise.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and control livestream platforms such as OBS, vMix, or equivalents.
• Operate cameras and assist with basic vision mixing across multiple cameras.
• Manage and mix live audio feeds during broadcasts.
• Continuously monitor streaming quality, quickly resolving technical issues on air.
• Construct, relocate and dismantle studio sets for production needs.
• Configure and adjust studio lighting for optimal presentation.
• Handle cables, tripods, stands, and all studio apparatus with safety as a priority.
• Ensure the studio space remains organized, clean, and compliant with safety standards.
• Prepare products appropriately for live shopping streams, including correct staging and display.
• Assist with run-of-show preparations before live sessions.
• Support the broadcast team including presenters and Studio Manager during live commerce events.
• Manage studio equipment inventory, storage, and perform basic maintenance checks.
• Provide administrative support related to production tasks as required.
• Assist in general studio operations and offer support or cover for the Studio Manager when necessary.

Candidate Profile

• Previous background in broadcast, studio, or live production environments.
• Comfortable working independently with camera systems, audio equipment, live streaming software, and other technical gear.
• Demonstrates reliability and calm under pressure in ongoing live broadcasts.
• Highly organized with keen attention to detail across diverse responsibilities.
• Takes initiative and capable of quick problem-solving during live streams.
• Strong communication skills and able to work collaboratively within a small, fast-moving production team.
