Strategy and Operations Manager

About the Role

The Strategy & Operations Manager is a key position responsible for driving the growth and effectiveness of the Operations team. This role emphasizes a member-centric approach while ensuring scalable, efficient operations as the company grows.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the Operations operating model, including annual planning, OKR processes, partner health assessments, segmentation, and planning.
• Report directly to the Chief of Finance and Head of Operations to align critical business initiatives and enhance operational performance.
• Maintain and improve Operations data sources ensuring data accuracy, usability, and relevance to Operations workflows.
• Lead Operations reporting and analysis to produce actionable insights supporting company expansion.
• Work alongside leadership to find and address inefficiencies in operational processes.
• Support forecasting, pipeline oversight, and strategic planning within Operations.
• Collaborate with teams across Operations, Engineering, and Product to ensure unified objectives and procedures.
• Design and implement scalable processes and tools to support the growth of the Operations team.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in Operations, Sales Operations, or related roles at high-growth SaaS companies.
• Proficiency in managing ambiguous challenges, defining clear strategies, aligning stakeholders, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Independent attitude with ability to thrive amid uncertainty and fast-paced environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to extract meaningful insights from data.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and influence decision-making.
• Background in identifying and leading process improvements in sales or operational contexts.
• Excellent organizational skills capable of juggling multiple priorities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in early-stage startups (Series A/B funded).
• Knowledge of SQL or willingness to learn the language.
• Previous leadership experience is advantageous.

Interview Process

• Initial 30-minute video interview discussing background and interest.
• Follow-up 30-minute interview with hiring manager to explore experience and role fit.
• 30-minute session meeting 2-3 team members.
• 30-minute discussion with department leadership focusing on problem-solving and strategy.
• Final 30-minute conversation with company founders covering cultural fit and operating principles.

Compensation

Expected salary range is $130,000 to $150,000 annually (USD).
