Role overview

The Site Engineer will support the execution of building and villa compound projects in Abu Dhabi. This position is responsible for coordinating day-to-day on-site operations, supervising work progress, and ensuring that construction activities follow approved drawings, technical specifications, project timelines, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily site operations so that work is completed in accordance with approved drawings and project specifications.
• Work with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to keep execution running efficiently.
• Track construction progress and provide daily updates to the Project Engineer or Project Manager.
• Make sure work complies with quality expectations, HSE rules, and applicable local authority requirements.
• Assist with short-term planning, work sequencing, and look-ahead scheduling.
• Flag technical concerns or site variations and help drive their resolution.
• Support inspections, snagging, and project handover activities.
• Keep detailed site documentation, including daily records and progress reports.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field is required.
• Between 5 and 8 years of experience in construction, particularly in buildings and villa compound projects.
• Demonstrated UAE project experience is necessary; prior exposure to Abu Dhabi projects is preferred.
• Hands-on background in building works and villa compounds is mandatory.
• Abu Dhabi Municipality certification will be considered a plus.
