Role Overview
The IT Manager will be responsible for keeping the hotel’s technology environment running efficiently, ensuring reliable support for daily operations and maintaining secure, well-managed systems across the property.
Key Responsibilities
This role covers the full management of the hotel’s IT environment, from infrastructure and user support to cybersecurity and vendor coordination.
- Oversee the hotel’s IT setup, including networks, servers, computers, and software platforms.
- Keep key hotel applications running effectively, including property management systems, point-of-sale systems, and other business tools.
- Direct IT support activities and make sure technical issues are handled promptly.
- Maintain cybersecurity controls, data protection practices, backup processes, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Coordinate and deliver system upgrades, technology initiatives, and infrastructure enhancements.
- Handle relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology contract partners.
- Track IT assets and manage procurement of hardware and software.
- Ensure adherence to company IT policies and security requirements.
- Provide staff training and day-to-day guidance on IT systems and best practices.
Experience & Skills
- 3 to 5 years of professional IT experience, ideally within hospitality.
- Solid understanding of networks, servers, operating systems, cybersecurity, and technical support.
- Exposure to hotel systems such as PMS and POS is an advantage.
- Capability to manage IT projects, suppliers, and budgets.
- Strong analytical thinking, organization, and communication abilities.
- Leadership ability to guide and support a team.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
