Shift Manager

Position Overview

The Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing and controlling operations related to power generation and water production equipment. This leadership role requires effective coordination across shifts and comprehensive communication to ensure operational continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and control the functioning of all power generation and water production equipment.
• Ensure smooth handover and receipt of operational information during shift changes to maintain efficiency.
• Oversee and coordinate activities of all operations and maintenance personnel during assigned shifts.
• Lead daily morning production meetings and contribute to daily work planning sessions.
• Assist in preparing the production budget and support related strategic initiatives at site, regional, and corporate levels.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or higher education in a related field.
• Preferably have a minimum of 10 years operational experience in modern Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plants and desalination facilities.
• Experience working with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) is favored.
• Certification such as NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or an equivalent health and safety qualification is advantageous.
