Service Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a Service Engineer specialized in Solar PV systems to join our team in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, commissioning, and maintaining solar photovoltaic setups along with electrical troubleshooting at client locations. The role demands a proactive approach to service calls, ensuring all customer issues are resolved efficiently while adhering to electrical safety protocols and company standards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Install, test, commission, and perform maintenance on Solar PV systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and technical faults onsite.
• Conduct both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Respond promptly to service calls and resolve customer complaints within set timeframes.
• Inspect electrical components such as inverters, panels, and cables.
• Document daily service activities and maintain accurate service records.
• Coordinate with Project and Technical teams to address and resolve issues.
• Adhere strictly to electrical safety standards and company operating procedures.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and timely service.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic understanding of Electrical Systems and Solar PV technology.
• Competent in troubleshooting and identifying faults.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage customer relations effectively.
• Familiarity with reading elementary electrical diagrams preferred.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office applications for reporting purposes.
• Willingness to travel across the Gujarat region as required.
• Possess a positive mindset, work well within teams, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Eligibility Criteria

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering or ITI certification as an Electrician.
• Freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience in Solar, Electrical, or Service Engineering.
• Holding a valid two-wheeler driving license is advantageous.

Compensation

The monthly salary range for this position is between INR 13,000 and INR 20,000.
