Role Overview

The Senior SOC Controller plays a critical role within a client-specific Security Operations Center (SOC), overseeing triage, quality assurance, intelligence, and threat analysis using the Crisis Response tool. This position ensures seamless business operations by managing incidents effectively and supports the enhancement of SOC's services and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Embody Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence in all duties.
• Provide close support to senior management and line-of-business stakeholders by triaging risks and ensuring uninterrupted business operations during crises or disasters.
• Lead and coordinate working and project groups aimed at improving SOC technology and operational processes.
• Manage deployment of new tools, services, and applications to enhance SOC functions.
• Establish and maintain SOC operating procedures and best practices aligned with business objectives.
• Facilitate crisis management responses and coordinate incident escalation and emergency communication across site, regional, and global security leadership levels.
• Deliver detailed, clear verbal and written briefings to global security executives and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and review concise notifications targeted at client decision-makers and global security leaders.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned to support SOC operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Security Studies, International Affairs, Intelligence Studies, Criminology, Crisis Management, or related field.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a collaborative environment such as a government or corporate global security operations center, emergency operations center, or similar.
• Proficiency with global risk intelligence, incident response software, mass emergency notification systems, travel risk management platforms, and geographic information systems.
• Background in intelligence, geopolitical analysis, or security-related fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to generate insights and business recommendations from complex data.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments with competing deadlines.
• Effective task organization and implementation skills.
• Leadership capabilities with a team-oriented approach.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Skilled in building consensus and influencing decision-makers.
• Respect for confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.

Working Conditions
