Role Overview
Silverstrand is looking for experienced Senior Project Managers and Project Managers to join their team and contribute significantly to shaping the company’s future. Candidates will engage in a variety of civil and structural infrastructure projects throughout Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide assistance and leadership in support of project managers and their teams.
- Manage projects within civil and structures sectors, focusing on technical, commercial, and scheduling dimensions.
- Design and implement construction schedules and programs.
- Collaborate closely with clients to address technical and commercial challenges and scheduling conflicts.
- Oversee project budgets, ensuring tracking and delivery align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Manage supplier, consultant, and subcontractor engagement and delivery under rate schedules or lump sum contracts.
- Draft contracts consistent with company project management practices and enforce corrective measures for optimal use of resources.
- Apply expertise in project programming, cost and quality control, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor and evaluate work plans against contract and financial objectives.
- Maintain and report on project costing, forecasts, and budget reconciliations.
- Be prepared to travel regionally or undertake FIFO/DIDO arrangements as necessary.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least 8 years of practical experience managing civil infrastructure projects.
- Proven capability in delivering self-performed works.
- Strong proficiency in reading technical drawings and interpreting plans.
- Skilled in programming and cost control methodologies.
- Demonstrates an excellent safety track record from previous projects.

Working Patterns
- Project Manager roles offer a 5 days on / 2 days off DIDO roster or base in Southeast Queensland with travel as required.
