Role Overview

This opportunity is offered through a partner who manages all applications and subsequent procedures. The partner is seeking a Senior Manual QA professional based in Germany to assure high-quality standards for contemporary web-based solutions utilized by a global clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret business and technical specifications, engaging proactively in feature discussions to enhance testability and maintain product excellence.
• Develop and upkeep detailed test documentation, including test cases, checklists, and scenario outlines.
• Provide accurate estimations of testing workloads and actively participate in sprint planning and task prioritization.
• Conduct thorough manual testing involving functional, regression, acceptance, API, and integration tests on web applications.
• Analyze automated test outcomes and support root cause analysis for test failures.
• Examine application logs to aid effective defect diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Handle deployment of application versions to both testing and live production environments when necessary.
• Identify, record, prioritize, and track software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
• Collaborate extensively with development and other teams to share insights and ensure feature delivery success.

Candidate Requirements

• At least five years of professional experience in manual quality assurance or an equivalent software quality role.
• Proven hands-on experience testing web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding of web technologies, including client-server interactions, HTML/CSS, and WebSocket protocols.
• Proficient in API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
• Experience with log analysis and application issue troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with project and version control tools including Jira and Git.
• Strong grasp of various test design approaches and general software testing methodologies.
• Practical use of browser developer tools (e.g., DevTools) and cross-browser testing platforms such as BrowserStack.
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
• Experience with quality monitoring tools such as Grafana, Sentry, or qase.io is a plus.
• Utilization of AI-integrated tools to streamline testing procedures is highly favorable.
• Prior exposure to the iGaming sector is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, strong collaboration skills, and a motivated, results-driven approach.
