About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Designer who goes beyond filling a traditional role and actively pushes creative boundaries. This position suits a visionary who understands design as a powerful cultural force and is passionate about making memorable and meaningful work. The role involves leading design projects from concept to completion, mentoring junior team members, and collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver outstanding creative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex design projects, managing them end-to-end from initial concept through final execution.
- Develop innovative creative concepts that effectively address client briefs and business objectives.
- Create high-quality design outputs including brand identities, campaigns, print materials, and digital assets.
- Translate intricate information into engaging visual stories that resonate with audiences.
- Ensure all creative work complies with brand guidelines and maintains exceptional quality standards.
- Present design ideas confidently to internal teams and clients.
- Collaborate closely with Creative and Account Directors, strategists, copywriters, and external partners such as photographers and developers.
- Participate actively in client meetings and respond constructively to feedback, iterating designs as necessary.
- Mentor and provide constructive feedback to junior designers, fostering a culture of high creative standards.
- Manage workload efficiently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and maintain organized design systems and production-ready files.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of five years' experience in design within agency or in-house settings.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing strong creative thinking and craftsmanship across multiple media.
- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Proficient in brand identity development, print design, and digital content creation.
- Exceptional skills in typography, layout, and visual composition.
- Strong conceptual abilities, able to innovate beyond execution to develop impactful ideas.
- Confidence in presenting and articulating design decisions to stakeholders.
- Self-driven with a readiness to take ownership and initiative on projects.
- Use of AI tools integrated into daily workflows to enhance creativity and efficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and ability to juggle multiple projects effectively.
- Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
- A passion for diverse creative expressions and an authentic, unique personal approach to work.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Experience in financial services or business-to-business sectors.
- Skills in motion graphics or animation using After Effects.
- UX/UI design capabilities.
- Basic web design knowledge, including Figma and HTML/CSS.
- Experience mentoring or managing junior creative staff.
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and positioning.

Additional Information
- Salary range between £35,000 and £40,000 per year.
