This temporary role, with potential for transition to full-time based on performance, involves significant solo fieldwork as well as collaboration with the Creative Director during major shoots.
Key Responsibilities
- Document Armada's story in diverse settings including events and customer locations through the entire content creation process.
- Execute photography and videography ranging from spontaneous social media clips to cinematic flagship projects.
- Handle post-production activities such as editing, audio mixing, color grading, and animation for various formats.
- Create motion graphics and other visual assets for video or standalone use.
- Assist the Creative Director with preparation, on-set activities, and rapid post-production for large shoots.
Required Qualifications
- Over 5 years of professional experience in shooting, editing, animating, and photography, demonstrated via a comprehensive portfolio or reel.
- Ability to function independently, managing full-cycle content production including event coverage and delivery.
- Expertise in social media formats and pacing, ensuring polished and premium short-form content.
- A distinct photographic vision supported by a portfolio.
- Strong editorial instincts to identify and craft compelling stories from raw footage.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and the complete post-production workflow.
- Experience with color grading tools like DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere and fundamental audio mixing skills.
- Diligent organizational skills for managing timelines, files, and logistics.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, often at short notice, including remote locations.
Preferred Qualifications
- FAA Part 107 certification and drone piloting experience for aerial footage.
- Familiarity with 3D software such as Cinema 4D or Blender for motion and design purposes.
- Background in commercial, brand, documentary, or editorial production environments.
- Experience working within technology firms or startup cultures.
- Comfort collaborating directly with executive-level creative leadership.
- Experience filming in industrial, technical, or field conditions.
Compensation and Work Terms
This position is a contract role with a three-month term and potential conversion to full-time employment contingent on performance. It qualifies for overtime. The annual base salary varies by geographic region: $139,288 to $174,110 for Tier 1 metro areas (like San Francisco, NYC), $121,120 to $151,400 for Tier 2 metros, and $115,064 to $143,830 for other cities. Final salary will depend on experience and skills.
Ideal Candidate Attributes

- Detail-conscious problem-solver who can efficiently gather information and deliver high-quality results independently.
- Energetic and adaptable in fast-moving, entrepreneurial work settings.
- A cooperative team member focused on collective success over personal gain.
- Highly organized with excellent prioritization and a strong work ethic.
