Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Carry out assigned duties according to the Duty Roster prepared by the Director of Security.
• Possible assignments include Security Control Room, Lobby, Loading Bay, Patrolling, Back of House, VIP Parking, or any other security-related operational area.
• Ensure all security systems operate efficiently and promptly address any faults detected.
• Provide assistance to Management, staff, and guests consistent with security and prevention goals.
• Collaborate with various departments and government agencies for routine tasks and emergency situations.
• Monitor back of house zones vigilantly, paying close attention to unauthorized access points.
• Maintain accurate records in Log Books for documentation and future reference.
• Keep the Manager or Crisis Management Team updated on any developments during crises.
• Conduct inventories of keys, passes, communication devices, and other accountable items.
• Ensure the Hotel Security Room and surrounding areas are kept clean and orderly.
• Be well-versed in hotel fire, life safety, and emergency response procedures.
• Adhere to all hotel and departmental policies and procedures consistently.
• Participate fully in all briefings, meetings, and training sessions as directed.
• Report punctually for duty, dressed in a clean and complete uniform.
• Maintain exemplary personal appearance and hygiene.
• Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by hotel management.

Qualifications and Experience

Possession of certificates such as those from the National Skills Recognition System, CPR, First Aid Management, and Basic Fire Fighting is considered beneficial. Applicants should have at least one year of relevant experience in a similar security role.
