Job Overview
This role supports the Physical Security Department in safeguarding ASOS employees, properties, and assets. You will collaborate with office and field teams to minimize risk and reduce losses throughout our offices and supply chain. Development opportunities in risk mitigation and loss reduction techniques will be provided, including performing risk assessments, supporting investigations, conducting site visits, and utilizing advanced security technologies. A flexible, business-focused approach is essential, as well as commitment to continuous personal growth.
Responsibilities
- Help maintain reliable performance and compliance of physical security systems.
- Assist with integration, administration, and development of security technologies such as access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, video intercoms, and turnstiles.
- Support preventive maintenance efforts to minimize system downtime.
- Maintain and enhance security documentation and procedures within SharePoint.
- Collaborate with third-party suppliers on travel risk assessments and threat mitigation.
- Use Open-Source Intelligence to monitor and address potential business threats.
- Analyze data and collaborate to reduce losses within assigned areas, employing data visualization tools.
- Create, manage, and implement procedural and security control documents for compliance audits, including collecting necessary evidence.
- Produce ad-hoc reports detailing live issues and proposed solutions.
- Assist Internal Audit & Risk team with incident response planning.
- Participate in investigations including information gathering, police reporting, evidence collection, and court testimony.
- Aid in building and delivering counter-terrorism training, working with relevant external agencies.
- Review business trips to identify irregularities and mitigate future risks.
- Coordinate with other teams and projects impacting physical security.
- Conduct security assessments through vulnerability testing and risk analysis, recommending mitigation strategies.
- Support ASOS's Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives.
