Scaffolding Technician

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Scaffolding Technician with a Diploma in Engineering and over 10 years of hands-on experience, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry operating in a live plant environment. This role involves ensuring scaffolding structures meet safety and compliance standards on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections on erected scaffolds to confirm stability, safety, and adherence to approved plans and site regulations.
• Conduct thorough pre-use and post-modification evaluations of scaffold assemblies to guarantee their ongoing safe condition.
• Detect potential hazards and unsafe conditions related to scaffolding operations and promptly initiate corrective measures.
• Issue and track scaffolding tags and certificates following strict site safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant practical experience in scaffolding, ideally in Oil & Gas live plant settings.
• Comprehensive knowledge of various scaffold types and surface preparation methods.
• Proven practical proficiency in both erecting and dismantling scaffold systems.

Compensation and Work Pattern

• Monthly salary: AED 3,250 plus Offshore Allowance.
• Work rotation cycle: 90 days on duty followed by 30 days off.
