Role Overview

The Sanitation Worker at our Brantford facility plays a key role in supporting the sanitation team by executing tasks that enhance plant performance, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include detailed documentation, equipment cleaning, and compliance with food safety standards, while operating sanitation machinery and escalating any safety or quality concerns.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate daily records including temperature logs, cleaning details, and chemical usage measurements.
• Thoroughly clean equipment and ensure the facility is kept tidy, adhering strictly to GMP and company policies.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to confirm sanitation swabs meet standards and uphold food safety procedures.
• Operate sanitation equipment safely and report any issues relating to quality or safety promptly.
• Carry out additional duties as directed by supervisors.

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a permanent, full-time night shift role from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. on a continental shift basis. Overtime opportunities may arise based on operational demands. The wage is CAD 22.97 per hour with an added night shift premium of CAD 1.35 per hour.
