About the Role
As a Salesforce Developer, you will craft clean and effective code to provide solutions that enhance GoodHabitz's operations. You will integrate AI-assisted coding tools into your daily tasks, balancing independent work with active collaboration to support teammates and collective goals. Advancement here is encouraged by curiosity about Salesforce, understanding how your contributions fit into broader objectives, and expanding beyond current responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and customise Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Flow to enhance and streamline business workflows.
- Create and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs to ensure reliable and secure data synchronization.
- Design scalable, well-organized data models that accommodate business growth.
- Write high-quality, well-documented, and test-covered code; participate in code reviews and deployment processes.
- Implement automation solutions including Flows, validation rules, and approval processes to optimize operations.
- Provide technical support by troubleshooting issues, improving system performance, and offering guidance to stakeholders and fellow developers. Stay updated on Salesforce releases and propose relevant adoptions.
Desired Qualifications
- Proven experience with Salesforce development, specifically Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Process Builder and Workflow Rules.
- Strong grasp of Salesforce data architecture and best practices.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with external applications through APIs.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of Account Engagement, Marketing Cloud, CPQ, or Commerce Cloud is advantageous.
- Salesforce certifications such as JavaScript Developer I or Platform App Builder are beneficial; Platform Developer II certification is highly valued.
Unsuitable Candidate Profile
- Prefers working solo over participating in a Scrum team environment that values shared deliverables.
- Reluctant to engage with stakeholders like RevOps and Sales for collaborative outcome shaping.
- Uncomfortable communicating technical solutions to non-technical audiences, including demos and clear explanations.
- Prefers isolated work rather than participating in reviews and testing of team members' contributions.
