In 2024, AP Race acquired the WAVE Swimming Academy, established by HRH Princess Reem bint Abdullah Saud as a ladies-only academy with a significant impact in Saudi Arabia. The WAVE Academy was rebranded under AP Race and currently serves over 4,000 swimmers weekly with sessions ranging from parent and baby classes to competitive training squads.
Role Overview
The Sales Manager position at AP Race Swimming Academy demands a motivated and ambitious individual to oversee daily sales and admissions operations. The role focuses on converting inquiries, trial sessions, and leads into active swimming participants across all our academy programs. This hands-on position requires strong organization, confidence in parent and customer communications, commercial awareness, and a passion for excellent customer service. The Sales Manager will also train and monitor the customer service team to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all sales inquiries promptly and professionally across phone, email, website, and social media.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations to manage prospects from inquiry through trial and enrollment, ensuring high conversion at each stage.
- Recommend suitable programs or squads to convert trials into paying customers.
- Maintain communication with prospects not immediately enrolling and identify opportunities to increase swimmer enrollment.
- Maximize program occupancy by filling available spaces and reducing unused capacity.
- Advise customers on program pricing and support commercial growth initiatives.
- Develop and implement seasonal and holiday sales campaigns to increase registrations and revenue.
- Serve as a primary contact for prospective and new customers, ensuring clear communication about programs, schedules, pricing, and policies.
- Address sales queries, objections, and concerns effectively and professionally.
- Work alongside coaches to place swimmers in appropriate programs.
- Keep detailed records of leads, trials, conversions, and memberships.
- Monitor sales pipelines, follow up on leads, and produce regular reports on sales metrics and revenue.
- Set and pursue monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with senior management and marketing to design campaigns that drive new inquiries and registrations.
- Contribute to refining sales processes and enhancing the customer journey.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated experience in sales, admissions, customer success, or business development roles.
- Strong communication skills and confidence in engaging with parents and customers.
- Commercially motivated with a focus on achieving sales targets.
- Exceptionally organized with the ability to manage many inquiries simultaneously.
- Persistent and proactive follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle objections and successfully close sales.
- Excellent attention to detail and administrative capabilities.
- Familiarity with CRM, booking, and customer management platforms.
- Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team member.
- Interest in swimming, sports, children, or youth development is a plus.
Previous experience in sports, education, childcare, leisure, or membership organizations is advantageous but not required.

- Number of new swimmer enrollments.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 SAR monthly, based on experience.

Work Location and Conditions
- Full-time role based in the Riyadh office.
- Flexible working hours primarily during office times, with occasional overtime as required.
