Sales Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive Sales Engineer to join an Industrial Automation company in Pune, India. The key responsibility is to expand the customer base as well as maintain relationships with existing clients by offering automation products such as PLC, SCADA, HMI, and VFD.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales prospects while managing established accounts effectively.
• Recommend appropriate automation and control solutions based on client needs.
• Prepare detailed technical and commercial quotes, proposals, and product presentations.
• Collaborate closely with application, service, and operations departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Conduct technical product demonstrations and facilitate in-depth discussions with potential buyers.
• Engage with OEMs, system integrators, panel builders, and end users to generate business opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze market developments, competitor activities, and customer demands.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales goals while maintaining up-to-date information within CRM systems.

Qualifications and Eligibility

Candidates should possess a B.Sc in Electronics or a B.Tech/B.E. in any of the following disciplines: Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE), Instrumentation and Control Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, or Applied Electronics and Instrumentation.
