Overview

We are conducting a confidential search for a Sales Director to join a prominent international FMCG brand embarking on an exciting phase in its UK operations. With a solid foundation and established grocery distribution, the role demands a dynamic commercial leader to oversee the UK sales division, nurture major client relationships, and drive sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Define and implement a compelling commercial strategy for the UK market.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a skilled sales team.
Enhance senior-level relationships with major grocery retailers.
Translate strategic plans into targeted customer initiatives with measurable outcomes.
Promote distribution expansion, profit growth, and brand sustainability.
Introduce clarity and rigor in category management, pricing strategies, and revenue growth.
Serve as a trusted commercial advisor to the UK Managing Director.

Requirements

Proven leadership experience in sales within FMCG branded businesses.
Background in impulse-driven product categories is highly desirable.
Ability to combine commercial ambition with a grounded, practical approach.
Strong strategic thinking paired with hands-on involvement.
Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a leadership team and with customers.
