Role Overview

This position is a fixed-term contract role covering maternity leave until the end of April 2027. Key Responsibilities

• Supporting incident and near-miss reporting processes, including investigation, resolution, and closure activities.
• Assisting in executing fire safety drills, conducting fire escape route inspections, and managing follow-up corrective measures.
• Organizing and assisting with regulatory audits, safety checks, and training or awareness activities related to safety, risk, and compliance.
• Participating in reviewing and auditing critical safety and compliance manuals.
• Contributing to broader business risk management, knowledge sharing, and assurance-related projects as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Prior experience in safety, compliance, or regulatory positions, preferably within controlled environments.
• Familiarity with Safety Management Systems, particularly in data management and reporting tasks.
• Ability to effectively support multiple concurrent projects or workstreams at a generalist level.
• Strong eagerness to acquire new knowledge and skills.
• Confident communicator with the versatility to engage diverse stakeholders clearly and succinctly.
• Excellent relationship-building capabilities across diverse groups.
• Demonstrated planning and organizational abilities to balance shifting priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication, including presentation skills; favors transparency and teamwork.
• Competence with various software tools and platforms.
• Analytical aptitude to evaluate compliance concerns and suggest practical corrective strategies.
