Resident Technical Officer

Job Summary

This role entails overseeing various civil and structural works involving complex construction methods such as structural demolition, bored piling, reinforced concrete, post tensioned works, and steel structures within the Bukit Timah Integrated Development project. The position requires comprehensive supervision of external construction activities as well.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities of the Bukit Timah Integrated Development project ensuring quality and compliance.
• Manage supervision of external works related to the project.

Candidate Requirements

• A minimum of eight years’ experience supervising civil and structural engineering works including structural demolition, sewer diversions, bored piling, secant bored pile construction, reinforced concrete, post tensioned works, steel works, composite structures, Bondek construction, and steel truss construction.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising semi top-down construction, long span Portable Operating Base (POB) structures, and post tensioned components.
• Additional competence in architectural and mechanical & electrical works supervision is advantageous.
• Possess a Polytechnic Diploma in Civil Engineering or hold a CIDB NCCS training certificate.
• Registration as a Resident Technical Officer with BCA, IES, or ACES is mandatory.
