Role Overview
The position of Research Officer at ABP Food Group is a full-time role based primarily in Ardee, Ireland, offering some remote work flexibility. The role requires periodic travel to various European plants. The officer is tasked with performing research, analyzing complex datasets, and delivering actionable insights that assist in informed business decision-making. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and preparation of detailed research documentation are key responsibilities. Additionally, this role supports the advancement of new company initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities paired with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication proficiency.
- Knowledge and experience in meat science or production engineering, along with competence in data analysis tools.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in related fields such as Food Science, Meat Science, Agricultural Science, Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering, or extensive industry experience.
- Prior experience in research or data analysis is advantageous.
