QAD Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned QAD Developer proficient in QAD development and QAD Enterprise Edition (EE) to support enterprise software initiatives. The successful candidate will take charge of building, customizing, and maintaining QAD solutions, working closely with business and functional teams to drive process enhancements and ensure high quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and sustain QAD-related functionalities, opting for standard QAD features or justified customizations.
• Collaborate actively with functional leadership at the operational level, as well as with QAD and other relevant teams.
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to junior team members to facilitate their integration and skill growth.
• Support business process improvements and ensure comprehensive documentation for projects transitioned to support teams.

Experience and Expertise Required

• 8 to 10 years of total professional experience, including at least 8 years in QAD programming and development, with manufacturing/process (Mfg./Pro) expertise.
• Proficient in non-intrusive programming methods such as ICT, along with knowledge of EDI, Qxtend, Excelerator, QRF, Maintenance, Inquiry, and browser tools.
• Minimum of 3 years in leadership roles mentoring and guiding teams.
• Experience with integration projects and broad familiarity with QAD modules related to Supply Chain, Sales Distribution, and Finance.
• Hands-on expertise with QAD EE development using tools like QRF and solid understanding of configuring QAD products to meet business needs.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills coupled with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
