Purchase Executive

Job Overview

We are seeking a Purchase Executive to manage sourcing and procurement of electronic components and semiconductors from suppliers both within India and internationally. The role involves vendor negotiation, purchase order management, and coordination across sales, logistics, and warehouse functions to ensure timely and efficient material flow aligned with sales demands.

Key Responsibilities

• Source electronic parts and semiconductor components from domestic and global vendors.
• Request quotations and analyze comparative pricing, lead times, and contract terms.
• Negotiate costs, delivery timelines, and payment conditions with suppliers.
• Create and maintain purchase orders accurately.
• Build and sustain effective supplier relationships, including evaluation of vendor performance.
• Monitor inventory status to drive procurement activities according to sales requirements.
• Track order confirmations, delivery schedules, and shipment details.
• Liaise with sales, logistics, and warehouse teams to facilitate smooth procurement and supply operations.
• Maintain procurement documentation, vendor information, and management information system (MIS) records.
• Ensure purchasing practices comply with organizational policies and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Between one to two years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles.
• Preferably experienced in electronics, semiconductor industry, EMS, or industrial product procurement.
• Strong negotiation ability, proficient in Excel, and effective communication skills.
• Familiarity with sourcing electronic components is a beneficial asset.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is 18000 to 27000 INR per month.
