Project Manager – Construction (Fit-Out, F&B & Retail)

About The Role

We are looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead and oversee fit-out, food & beverage, retail, and commercial construction projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated expertise in managing comprehensive project cycles, ensuring projects meet quality standards, stay within budget, and are completed on schedule. This position requires coordinating with multiple stakeholders including consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams, managing several projects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and supervise the entire lifecycle of fit-out and construction projects, from initial concept to final handover.
• Oversee the building of restaurants, cafés, retail stores, and other commercial spaces, enforcing adherence to design specifications and quality benchmarks.
• Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to guarantee timely and profitable project completions.
• Collaborate closely with architects, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and internal departments throughout all project stages.
• Track project milestones, spot potential risks, and apply corrective measures to keep projects on course.
• Perform routine site visits to monitor workmanship, safety, and compliance with local building regulations.
• Review technical documents, including drawings, bills of quantities (BOQs), specifications, and contractor submissions.
• Handle procurement processes and ensure timely delivery of materials to support project schedules.
• Evaluate contractor performance, ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled satisfactorily.
• Compile and present progress reports, regularly updating senior management on project status.
• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and quality standards across all project phases.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related discipline.
• 7 to 12 years of professional experience in managing construction projects.
• Proven track record in overseeing fit-out projects specifically for restaurants, cafés, retail, hospitality, or commercial sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, fit-out processes, project scheduling, budgeting, and contract management.
• Hands-on experience coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), interior fit-out, and finishing work.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience working in the GCC region, especially Saudi Arabia, highly preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
