Project Manager - CapEX/Tenant Improvement

The client is an international family office and active investor specializing in Core/Core+ real estate assets across major U.S. cities including Miami, San Francisco, New York, and Chicago. Having recently acquired over $2 billion in U.S. properties primarily involving office, hotel, and multifamily sectors, they are expanding their project management capabilities.

Job Overview

This role involves managing construction projects from their early stages through to completion, collaborating closely with senior team members to ensure objectives are met. The candidate will foster a cooperative and well-structured project environment, coordinate among stakeholders, monitor project timelines, and maintain alignment with client goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with oversight and management of construction projects including capital expenditure and tenant improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to coordinate contractor activities and monitor their performance.
• Support the preparation and management of project budgets, bid documents, and cost estimations.
• Ensure projects comply with relevant technical codes and regulations.
• Focus primarily on two local Core+ commercial office properties in Miami, FL requiring tenant fit-out and improvements.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in project or construction management.
• Hands-on knowledge of capital improvement and tenant improvement projects, including budgeting, estimating, repairs, and maintenance.
• Understanding of relevant technical codes and practical application in project execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Familiarity with commercial office tenant fit-out projects.
