Overview

As a Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in managing projects by supplying technical engineering details to guarantee that construction activities align with all engineering standards, relevant codes, and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily meetings with project teams to review progress schedules and verify that all materials, equipment, and resources are in place to maintain production timeline and budget adherence.
- Gather, coordinate, and evaluate shop drawings, design specifications, material necessities, and project information throughout the project lifecycle to ensure quality standards and compliance.
- Provide technical insights for project planning and scheduling, identifying potential risks related to production, materials, equipment, or procedures that could affect budget or timelines.
- Analyze daily production, schedule adherence, and budget forecasts to monitor project performance, maintaining detailed documentation of daily operations using company-approved processes and technologies.
- Ensure accurate project quantity reporting and cost control by applying assigned cost coding, collaborating with finance and accounting teams on resource tracking including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Approve daily timecards for company construction teams, working alongside Office Managers, payroll departments, and supervisors to resolve discrepancies when required.
- Evaluate project specifications to assure quality from project initiation, through execution, to completion; manage all necessary certifications, inspections, and documentation related to construction activities at the site.
- Coordinate with construction teams and engineering leadership to plan site layout, confirm marking of utilities and commercial lines before work starts, and handle any necessary permit acquisition.
- Support development of design drawings by providing technical input as needed.
- Manage subcontractor workflow, scheduling, and team coordination as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is required.
- Preferred minimum of one year of related work experience.
- Familiarity with construction engineering or substantial knowledge in this area is essential.
- Basic understanding of construction equipment, building techniques, drawings, specifications, and material standards relevant to projects.
- Strong sense of responsibility and effective interpersonal communication skills.

Compensation
