Position Overview

The Program Manager will lead programmatic responsibilities such as research, selection, community engagement, and portfolio oversight. Reporting directly to the Executive Director in Denver, this role requires coordinating program activities aligned with local priorities and collaborating across the GreenLight network.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on current and emerging social issues affecting underserved children, youth, and families.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative landscape analysis and engage with community leaders.
• Assist Executive Director in thorough evaluation of potential portfolio organizations.
• Carry out due diligence including financial and impact assessments of prospective organizations.
• Document and synthesize findings to inform program strategy and leadership decisions.
• Build and nurture relationships with community partners to enhance program effectiveness.
• Lead community engagement efforts ensuring alignment with site priorities.
• Serve as a communication point for program updates and opportunities.
• Monitor portfolio performance and track progress towards desired outcomes.
• Manage program data collection and reporting systems.
• Coordinate with portfolio organizations to ensure milestone achievements.
• Prepare materials supporting program decision-making and advisory input.
• Identify and implement best practices in collaboration with the Executive Director.
• Plan and execute program-related events highlighting portfolio impact.

Qualifications

• Between 4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven community engagement in the local area.
• Salesforce experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Location and Travel

This full-time position is based in Denver, Colorado, requiring onsite presence. Travel commitments are approximately 5–10%, typically planned in advance, including possible consecutive travel weeks for site visits and program support.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary offered ranges from $95,000 to $98,300 annually. Comprehensive benefits include:
