Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator - Packaging to become a permanent full-time member of our team in Cavan, South Australia. This role operates Monday to Friday from 2:00pm to 10:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery and equipment efficiently.
• Identify workplace hazards and collaborate with the Team Leader to resolve them.
• Adhere strictly to Quality, GMP, Hygiene, and Food Safety policies and protocols.
• Complete all necessary documentation related to production, quality control, and safety.
• Conduct preventive and routine maintenance on food production equipment.
• Engage actively in teamwork and participate in job rotation activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience in FMCG or Food Manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
• Proven skills in operating, cleaning, performing changeovers, and maintaining equipment preventatively.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and understanding of mechanical systems.
• Forklift license is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience operating walkie stackers.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
