Production Assistant

Overview

CNBC Arabia seeks a driven and detail-focused Production Assistant to become an integral member of the Production Team. This role involves preparing on-screen graphics, supporting live broadcasts, coordinating with production staff, and managing program content workflows to ensure smooth operations and high-quality output.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage computer graphics (CG) for both live and pre-recorded television programs.
• Provide hands-on support during live broadcasts ensuring all elements are ready and accurate for airing.
• Liaise with producers, editors, and various production teams to streamline content delivery.
• Conduct in-depth research and gather all necessary information to support program production and reporting.
• Prepare materials necessary for programs and assist in content production processes.
• Assist the Control Room team throughout live broadcasting sessions.
• Maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and punctuality in producing broadcast elements.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media, Mass Communication, or similar fields.
• A solid understanding of television production workflows and broadcast operations.
• Preferred knowledge of business, financial, and economic news topics.
• Proficient English communication skills; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
• Exceptional attention to detail paired with strong organizational abilities.
• Capable of performing effectively under pressure within a fast-moving environment.
• A proactive, energetic team player attitude.
