About the Role
Sago is seeking a Product Manager to help develop and expand our product range. In this role, you'll collaborate across multiple teams to foster innovation and oversee the full product lifecycle. A solid foundation in product development paired with curiosity and a cooperative attitude is essential for driving platform success. Experience with market research, especially involving qualitative or quantitative panel management software, is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate clear and effective communication to promote a collaborative work environment.
- Extract and consolidate stakeholder requirements to ensure the product aligns with business goals and translate them into clear developer tasks.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to guarantee product design matches customer needs and specifications.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the product for customers, executives, developers, and other partners to ensure product success.
- Create, update, and manage product roadmaps and backlogs informed by business priorities and stakeholder input.
- Analyze market trends and spot potential opportunities that can be addressed with existing products.
- Collaborate with design teams to conceptualize and prototype new features to improve the user experience.
- Lead Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and review meetings effectively.
- Apply agile methodologies to implement product improvements, maintaining adaptability to changes.

- Experience contributing to large-scale digital projects serving diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot to streamline product processes.
- Fundamental grasp of product management, software development workflows, and user experience principles.
- Strong communication skills tailored to varied audiences utilizing diverse communication channels including digital, written, and spoken formats.
- Able to collaborate effectively with third-party clients and external vendors.
- Capability to critically assess AI features and integrations, distinguishing value-adding functionalities from potential risks or user obstacles.
- Adept at interpreting complex technical content and adapting communication methods for clarity.
- Skilled at analyzing complex datasets to recommend process enhancements that promote continuous improvement.
- Basic technical knowledge including API functionality and database concepts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related disciplines is required; advanced degrees are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in product management.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or Lean Canvas along with associated tools for iterative development.
- Experience with project management software like Jira, Asana, and Github or equivalents.
- Exposure to market research platforms for qualitative or quantitative analysis, including panel management software, is highly beneficial.
