Procurement Specialist

Role overview

This role is for a meticulous procurement professional who will support a fast-moving supply chain operation. The position focuses on keeping materials available so production timelines, customer requirements, and inventory goals stay on track.

What you'll do

• Review stock positions, demand projections, and procurement summaries to determine what materials need to be ordered.
• Create, issue, and oversee purchase orders so raw materials, packaging, and production supplies arrive when needed.
• Work within ERP and MRP platforms to follow inventory movement, monitor open orders, and inform purchasing decisions.
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Operations, and Warehouse teams to keep buying activity aligned with manufacturing plans.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience across procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply planning.
• Hands-on experience reviewing reports and using them to guide purchasing actions.
• Strong background in supplier communication and negotiation.
• Practical experience using ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to juggle several priorities and meet deadlines consistently.
• Well-developed communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfort working in an on-site or hybrid-style work setting.
