Pacific Prime is hiring a Policy Admin Executive in Singapore to support policy administration, account management, billing coordination, and renewal-related operational work. The role requires careful handling of employee movement data, insurer communications, exception management, and client-facing escalation support.

Key responsibilities

  • Enter employee additions, changes, and terminations into the portal and notify insurers within the agreed turnaround time.
  • Prepare renewal information for insurers and clients following the required workflow.
  • Review and manage daily exception reports produced from data uploads.
  • Oversee assigned accounts and ensure all account-related matters are addressed promptly.
  • Manage appeals and escalations from clients, including HR teams and employees, on medical underwriting matters.
  • Coordinate with underwriters on underwriting requirements and reflect insurer decisions in the portal.
  • Work with the Contact Centre on policy administration issues.
  • Prepare documents needed for mail merge.
  • Consult the manager in a timely manner when issues cannot be resolved independently.
  • Stay adaptable and maintain a positive approach when business priorities change.
  • Follow PDPA and compliance standards, and escalate any breach immediately to the manager.
  • Take part in user acceptance testing for renewals, new system features, and new client rollouts.
  • Support daily operational and administrative billing activities.
  • Process bill adjustment requests and confirm invoice information against supporting documents.
  • Validate billing data in the accounting system and issue Debit Notes when necessary.
  • Carry out other census management duties assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Diploma qualification with 2 to 3 years of experience in the insurance sector.
  • Sound judgement and discretion, with a strong focus on customers and quality.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • High attention to detail and strong written as well as verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take full ownership of tasks, prioritise effectively, and complete work end to end.
  • For more experienced insurance billing specialists, the role expects the ability to work with little guidance or supervision.

This position involves PDPA and compliance responsibilities, as well as participation in UAT during renewals, feature releases, and client implementations. The role also includes billing-related administration and census management support.
