PMO Manager - UAE National

Role Overview

This role involves setting up and leading the Project Management Office (PMO), managing a portfolio of development and capital projects from their inception to completion. The role ensures that all project documentation, plans, and reports are accurate and aligned with company goals, while monitoring project schedules, budgets, risks, and overall progress.

Key Duties

• Establish and oversee the PMO structure and functions.
• Manage development and capital project portfolios throughout all phases.
• Maintain accurate, current project documentation and reports consistent with business objectives.
• Track project timelines, budgets, risk factors, and overall performance, recommending solutions as needed.
• Create portfolio reports and regularly update senior management, including the CEO.
• Formulate and enforce PMO policies, procedures, and governance guidelines.
• Ensure all projects comply with company policies and regulatory standards, applying best practices in project management.
• Collaborate effectively across Development, Commercial, Construction, Finance, and Asset Management departments to facilitate successful project outcomes.
• Lead initiatives to promote project management best practices organization-wide.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing project workflows, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of project portfolio management experience within real estate development or construction sectors.
• Comprehensive knowledge of project management methodologies, portfolio oversight, and governance within a PMO.
• Experience applying project planning, budget management, risk assessment, and performance evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with the specifics of real estate development and construction projects.
• Strong leadership capabilities, effective stakeholder engagement, clear communication skills, and keen problem-solving aptitude.
• Proficient in project management software tools and Microsoft Office suite.
