Planning Specialist

Job Overview

The Planning Specialist will be responsible for managing transfer order execution, ensuring accurate transportation scheduling, and maintaining cross-departmental coordination in our logistics and supply chain operations. This role requires strong system proficiency and adherence to planned replenishment processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Review inventory quantities upon receiving weekly plans from the planning manager and create daily transfer plans, adjusting weights and volumes based on transportation vehicle info and uploading orders into the TMS system.
• Monitor transportation progress and dispatch activities to guarantee timely vehicle arrival at the factory.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure loaded SKUs and quantities match the plan, promptly reporting discrepancies for adjustment.
• Track goods in transit, identify and resolve abnormalities, and provide regular updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Utilize the TMS system for scheduling and maintain documentation such as Dump Vehicle Follow-up Forms and order completion rate reports.
• Communicate planned requirements clearly across transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance departments to ensure synchronized operations.
• Collaborate efficiently with other departments by following processes and maintaining consistent information flow.
• Update domestic transfer order tables and replenishment reports for assigned areas to uphold planning timeliness and accuracy.

System Proficiency and Planning Logic

• Demonstrate expertise in using business systems including SAP, TMS, CMS, and POS for ordering, production, and warehouse follow-up.
• Apply advanced EXCEL skills to master planned replenishment logic, understand business processes, and utilize replenishment and cabinet tables effectively.
