About the Role

Within the Student Skills & Success department, the Careers and Employability Service invites applications for a Placement Coordinator. Reporting directly to the Placement Officer, this role contributes as a vital member of the placement team, facilitating the management of accredited placements for students.
Key Responsibilities
The Placement Coordinator will support the delivery of high-caliber accredited placement programs by assisting students throughout their placement journey—preparation, acquisition, and management. The role involves sourcing and fostering placement opportunities, engaging with employers, collaborating with academic departments, and overseeing daily administrative tasks related to placements. Ensuring efficient processes, maintaining precise records, and delivering excellent service throughout the placement cycle are fundamental duties.

Additional Information
The salary range for this Senior Executive Assistant (2026) role is €47,675 to €57,970 annually, in line with public sector pay standards.
