Role Overview
The Patient Coordinator position is a full-time, on-site role based in Riyadh, responsible for providing comprehensive support to patients throughout their visits and procedural journey at SURGCA. This role includes managing appointment arrangements, verifying patient information, and ensuring seamless check-in and check-out experiences at the reception area.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and clarity, providing detailed information regarding clinic schedules and procedures.
- Facilitate coordination between medical, nursing staff, and patients to sustain efficient patient flow within the clinic.
- Maintain and update patient records accurately and verify details as needed.
- Explain basic pre- and post-procedure instructions in accordance with clinical team guidance.
- Address patient and family inquiries courteously and promptly, ensuring a supportive environment.
- Collaborate consistently with front desk personnel and clinical teams to uphold a well-organized, patient-centered setting.
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent telephone communication skills demonstrating empathy and professionalism when engaging with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to surgical and outpatient care processes.
- Previous experience in patient-facing healthcare roles or equivalent service environments.
- Strong multitasking, prioritization abilities, and meticulous attention to detail in dynamic clinical settings.
- Proficient in computer use, including patient registration and scheduling software systems.
- A commitment to delivering culturally sensitive, confidential, and family-centered care.
- Educational background includes a bachelor's degree or diploma in a relevant field.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English languages is essential.
