Role Summary

This position leads the strategy and execution to expand Notion's Partner and Consultant programs, aiming for significant growth over the coming years. The role encompasses both self-service and sales-assisted business models, coordinating efforts with internal partners to unify programs through tiering, operational processes, systems, and incentive frameworks.

The Strategy & Operations Lead will craft and execute growth plans, structure priorities and dependencies, and develop core operational processes such as revenue and capacity modeling, KPI reporting, and reviews, collaborating across teams including Revenue Operations, Business Technology, Data, Finance, Product, and Go-to-Market.

The ultimate objective is to create transformative Partner programs that enhance user experience, accelerate adoption, and drive recurring revenue growth at scale. This role requires someone skilled in navigating undefined environments, data- and process-centric, with expertise in Partner and GTM (Go-to-Market) operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead annual and semi-annual strategic planning for the Partner organization, including recommendations on investment, resource allocation, objectives, KPIs, and incentive designs.
  • Develop and maintain revenue and capacity models to evaluate investment choices and solve ambiguous challenges through data-driven insights.
  • Implement and manage regular business cadence activities such as KPI and OKR reviews to support timely and informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Business Technology and Data teams to specify requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver systems and analytics that enable partner business operations.
  • Enhance Partner processes by improving onboarding, lead generation, and overall partner experience through close work with Business Technology and partner teams.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and drive process improvements and automation to optimize Partner activities.
  • Design and guide data-supported strategies including partner tiering, incentive structures, and referral programs.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Exceptional analytical and modeling skills capable of transforming ambiguous problems into clear, data-backed recommendations.
  • Process-driven with a knack for understanding workflows, implementing effective processes, and leveraging automation to improve efficiency.
  • Strong focus on impact and ROI, able to build compelling narratives that assist leadership in making strategic trade-offs.
  • Excellent communication skills across diverse audiences and hierarchical levels, including senior executives.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functionally, working collaboratively across departments to achieve results while being detail-oriented and hands-on.
  • Project management proficiency with experience translating strategies into measurable milestones and coordinating stakeholders.
  • Agile and velocity-focused mindset that favors pilots, experimentation, and fast scaling of successful initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of Partner and Consultant business models along with Go-to-Market operations.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in Strategy & Operations, Business Operations, Analytics, or Consulting, preferably within the technology or SaaS sectors.
  • Curious and open to leveraging AI tools to work smarter and enhance outcomes, though AI specialization is not mandatory.

Preferred Additional Expertise

  • Hands-on experience with Partner systems.
  • Advanced skills in analytics, statistics, and SQL.
  • Experience supporting executive leadership directly.
  • Broader exposure to Go-to-Market operations including Sales, Customer Success, Customer Experience, and Marketing Operations.
