About Jovie and the Role

Jovie is seeking caring individuals to join their back-up nanny team providing child care for multiple families. This role is ideal for those with prior experience as babysitters, daycare workers, nannies, church nursery volunteers, or retired teaching professionals looking for flexible, smaller scale child care settings instead of classroom environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care for children without the need to transport them.
• Maintain tidiness limited to cleaning up activities or meals involving the children; no additional household chores required.
• Support families with children ranging from infants to toddlers, with the highest demand for children under 2 years old.
• Ensure child safety while leading hands-on, age-appropriate activities based on close observation of each child’s developmental needs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hourly pay between $22 and $25.

Candidate Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience with children is required, with mandatory infant care experience.
• Have reliable personal transportation and willingness to travel to different homes within the region.
• Availability on three or more weekdays for shifts of 6 to 8 hours within 7am to 7pm time frame.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, approachable demeanor when interacting with families and supervisors.
