Role overview

Kennedys is seeking a Paralegal with around 1 to 2 years of litigation background to join its Liability Defence practice in Singapore. The role is focused on Singapore litigation work and suits someone who is comfortable working in a collaborative, high-performing environment within a growing international law firm.

The successful candidate should have practical exposure to motor insurance, work injury, and public liability matters. Beyond technical capability, the firm is looking for a person who is genuine, cooperative, and able to work well as part of a team.

Team

The Singapore office was set up in 2008 and later formed a joint law venture in 2015 with Legal Solutions, a local Singapore law firm, creating Kennedys Legal Solutions. This office represents the Singapore presence of an international firm with 45 offices globally.

The firm works across a broad range of practice areas throughout Asia Pacific, with a particular strength in commercial, insurance, and reinsurance matters. It offers integrated support under both English and Singapore law and maintains close links with offices in Hong Kong, Australia, and the Middle East, as well as partner firms across Asia.

Requirements

• About 1 to 2 years of litigation experience, with the stated experience level treated as a general guide rather than a strict cutoff.
• Hands-on exposure to motor claims, work injury claims, public liability claims, and liability defence work.
• Ability to organise work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong research ability and solid technical skills.
• Careful attention to detail.
• Knowledge of an Asian language would be an added advantage.
